ABTA Resort Check

ABTA Resort Check (ARC)  is an innovative database service we operate that brings together a wealth of health and safety reports on hotels and resorts, at an affordable price. Information on the status of properties is updated regularly and is available at the click of a button.  As well as providing information at a low cost, ARC will reduce the number of audits required by individual companies and offer a fast and hassle-free method of assessing new properties.

ARC currently holds health and safety records for over 30,000 properties worldwide and will allow all travel businesses to access health and safety audits for the accommodation they currently sell, or may want to sell in the future.

The independent audits and the self-assessment criteria are aligned to 'best practice' standards. Where local standards are either below or are a variation on our own best practice standards, hoteliers are requested to provide the necessary certifications to demonstrate that they comply with local legislation. In instances where any such variation may apply, the individual hoteliers are encouraged to adopt or work towards the best practice standards.
